2016 CCTV Financial Forum Chinese Brands Upgrading Summit Forum organized by CCTV Finance Channel was held grandly in Beijing on December 11, 2016. Ma Zhengqi, Deputy Director General of the State Administration of Industry and Commerce (SAIC), Chen Gang, Deputy Director General of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC. (AQSIQ), Qi Zhuquan, Chief Supervisor of CCTV Finance Channel, Qin Xiaoming, President of China Health Care Association, and many other leaders attended the forum. Chairman Li was also invited to attend the forum and had an in-depth communication with government officials and distinguished guests with respect to the quality upgrading of Chinese brands. 

Its aim is to build a platform for the communication, interaction and information sharing between relevant governmental sectors and industrial enterprises, so that they may make concerted efforts to improve and develop Chinese brands. 

Ma Zhengqi emphasized that, focusing on enhancing and upgrading Chinese brands, the industry and commerce departments as well as market regulators must do well in five aspects, namely system construction, reform deepening, protection of consumers? rights, credit supervision and management, and joint social governance. While according to Deputy Director General of AQSIQ, Chen Gang, the development of Chinese brands still falls behind the economic development. Currently, relevant departments are on a tight schedule to formulate development strategies and other relevant documents for Chinese brands development, further clarifying the main direction of future development, and promoting the legislation of Quality Promotion Law and other relevant laws. 

As a representative of entrepreneurs engaged in the globalized great health industry, Chairman Li gave an interview to the journalist of Consumer Advocates, a CCTV program, and answered the questions proposed by the journalist with respect to the new change of fields that TIENS products involved in 2016 as well as their new trend in 2017. 

According to Chairman Li, health, nutrition, ecology and functionality have become the key popular concepts of nutritional health food. In such circumstances, TIENS market positioning changed by giving more attention to young consumers- the average age of whom is about 35, and devoting more efforts on sportive and functional products and service. At the same time, TIENS has been giving attention to the advantages of "Internet +" network resource integration, and direct-selling and network-orientation which are the latest trend of the industry. 

In the future, TIENS will pay more attention to communities so as to develop its capacity of providing service to the masses. In Chairman Li's opinion, it is a must for the products to gain public trust, the enterprise to fulfill their social responsibilities, and the brands to keep abreast with market development, and the key to develop brands is to enhance product quality. 

During the summit, Chairman Li also had an amicable talk with Qin Xiaoming, President of China Health Care Association, Zhou Bangyong, Vice President of the same unit, as well as the leaders of seven associations including China National Health Association, China Building Materials Federation, and China Dairy Industry Association. Chairman Li said, "By adhering to the principle of integrity management and producing high-quality products with love and credit, TIENS has been positively adapting to the domestic and foreign changes in terms of consumption upgrading, sticking to innovation-based development, promoting corporate transformation and upgrading, and unremittingly forging TIENS brand to lead the industrial development." 

TIENS firmly believes that, with the guidance of national Belt and Road Initiatives, the support given by relevant government departments, as well as the concerted efforts made by industrial peers, more and more Chinese brands will go to the global market and realize our "Chinese Dream"!
